Gland, Switzerland, 29 January 2014 – Swissquote today announced a partnership agreement with the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. The partnership is a continuation of the agreement between the team and MIG Bank, which was acquired by Swissquote in September 2013.
The partnership aligns two entities that share more than just a love for motor sport. Both Formula One and the global banking sector face challenges of rapid growth during an era of changing regulations. The MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS F1 W05 car makes its track debut when Formula One testing begins in Jerez, Spain today, Tuesday 28 January. The Silver Arrows cars feature the distinctive Swissquote logo on the nose cone and rear wing end plates, as well as on the driver and team race wear.
