SNAPCHAT and US Stock CFDs trading terms update

March 20, 2017

Dear Traders,

Our previous successful enhancement of CFD trading terms has inspired many customers to trade more volume.

We love bringing satisfaction to our trading customers, so we've decided to improve our CFD terms even further – effective from Tuesday, 14 March 2017.

New single share CFD instrument

We would also like to let you know that we are adding a new instrument, Snap Inc. (Snapchat) single share CFD – #SNAP. Founded in 2011, Snapchat is a popular messaging platform and social network, designed exclusively for mobile users. Today, with an estimated near 7 billion video views per day, it has rapidly accelerated to become a true heavyweight in social media space.

Please note that the new instrument will be offered to traders with an Admiral.Markets account on the AM-Live2 trade server, as we will no longer be adding new trading instruments to servers with former Admiral-Pro accounts (with distinct Pro postfixes in the instrument symbols). So if you are currently using Admiral-Pro, please open a new Admiral.Markets account instead and transfer your funds internally via the Trader's Room.

New minimum contract size, contract step and trading session for all US stock CFDs.

But it's not all about enhancing our existing offers. From Monday, 20 March 2017, there will be some changes in trading terms and conditions for all US single share CFDs. We will change commission, minimum commission, decrease minimum lot size, contract step and pip values per minimum contract, so you'll be able to trade mini contracts starting from 1 share, with contract step for 1 share.

Key features of US Stock CFDs changes:

  • Commission - 2 pips round turn
  • Minimum commission – USD 2 round turn
  • New minimum contract size, shares – 1 share
  • New contract step, shares – 1 share
  • New pip value per minimum contract – USD 0.01
  • New 3 day swaps – Friday
  • New trading hours (EET) – 16:35–23:00 Mon–Fri*

Admiral Markets is all about putting you first. So if you ever have any questions or need more information, please don't hesitate to email, call or visit us at one of our many local offices around the world. Get in touch with us.

* Please note that according to the trading schedule changes due to the US Switching Daylight Saving Time, between 12 March and 26 March 2017 (inclusive), everyday trading will open and close earlier.

Sincerely,

Admiral Markets
